Studio Construction

 May 2012 - Studio Construction

Oh man, it's been a while. The good news is I'm almost done with the new studio, where I can soon get back to actually making music. I have around seventy 10-second ideas and tidbits recorded. Hopefully some of them will turn into songs...

February 2011 - Pixel Pig!

Pixel Pig, a game created by the very talented Thom Denick at Smorpheus Games Labratory, is now out.  I created all the music and sounds. The game is addictively fun, with a whole bunch of levels to play through. What more can be said about a game in which you control a flying, farting pig? Check it out!

October 2010 - Retail!

Here's some news that is probably only exciting for me and those of you who still buy music at brick-and-mortar stores: The new album is now available at Newbury Comics! You can find it in the "MISC C" section, just after Miley Cyrus (I'm told the album will have its own plastic divider next week). Go out and buy!

September 2010 - Album Released

The first full length album, Lists are Good, is now available across the world.

Spring 2010 - Mixing Album

Finishing my first album. So many little details to cleanup - clicks and fuzz and hiss and whatnot. At some point I just have to call it done, scratches and all.

August 2010 - Mastering Album

Just had the new album mastered by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Mastering, with Maria Rice as the assistant engineer. A fun and interesting experience.

Jeff is like a mad scientist at the controls, chatting about world news as he moves from knob to knob, standing, sitting, pacing back and forth. He recorded to a reel-to-reel tape deck and back, which added some nice analog warmth to the tracks.

Now only a few more logistical details before the album "drops," hopefully sometime in late August.
